John Finley Merrell
John Finley Merrell (1843-1931) was born 21 Oct. 1843 in Lee Co., Iowa Territory. He was the son of Charles Merrell and Sarah Finley. He married Mary Elizabeth Cole on 11 Jan. 1870 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He was baptized on 20 Oct. 1852. He responded to a mission call in 1890 when Wilford Woodruff was President of the Church. He died 18 Sep. 1931 in Brigham City, Box Elder Co., Utah.
